The NHL released the entire league schedule today, barring a work stoppage (cross your fingers!), will open on October 1o. The Blues will be part of a double header that day with Boston and Philly in the early game and the Blues and Avalanche for the late one. You can view the Blues’ schedule here.

 

A few things to point out:

• There are NO Saturday night games against Detroit
• The Blues close out with a home and home with the Chicago Blackhawks
• Two 5 game road trips and a 4 game road trip in the second half of the season
• Jersey, Philly, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Washington, Ottawa and Winnipeg come to town
• Starting on December 31, 16 of 26 games will be on the road

 

As long as the NHL and NHLPA play nice we’ll get to see those games, if not it might be a while before we see the Blue and Gold skating at Scottrade.
